Ursulines, the Story invites you to step into a living history, shaped over more than three centuries in the heart of Trois-Rivières. As founders, educators, and caregivers, the Ursulines have left a lasting mark on the city by dedicating their lives to teaching and caring for others.
Held at the monastery, the exhibition showcases architecture designed for education, healing, and prayer, as well as objects and archival materials that offer a glimpse into the daily lives of the Ursulines. Blurring the lines between public and private spaces, Ursulines, the Story reveals the legacy of a community that, though long cloistered, was deeply engaged with the city and dedicated to educating generations of women.
